Tip of the Month: Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life. (Proverbs 19:20 - NLT)

Other translations say things like: Take good counsel and accept correction -- that's the way to live wisely and well. (MSG) and If you listen to advice and are willing to learn, one day you will be wise. (GNT)  The point here is that you have to continue to learn, and be willing to hear when you've made an error, or when someone sees another way.

There is always something more you can learn, another way to do things, another way to think. Sometimes what you learn is what NOT to do, but that's still a valuable lesson. And sometimes what you learn won't work for you (due to personality, style, physical limitations), or for a particular dog, but that doesn't mean it wasn't valuable to learn.

Quality does not come cheap, but it is worth the price.  -- Elton Mau, Arrowsmith, IL
